Wittenberg 31, Thomas More 6




        Greg Cornett was 16-of-34 passing for 297 yards, and Daniel Grove scored three touchdowns as Wittenberg beat Thomas More 31-6 Saturday at Crestview Hills.

        Grove scored on a 2-yard run in the first quarter and had TD runs of 3 and 8 yards in the second as the Tigers (3-0) took a 28-0 lead.

        The Saints (2-2) ended the shutout on Justin Frisk's 2-yard touchdown run with eight seconds to play. Thomas More got 104 yards passing from Matt Young and 97 from Scott Garver but managed just 13 yards rushing.

        Skip Ivery had six catches for 95 yards for Wittenberg.
