Kalamazoo 27, Mount St. Joseph 13




        KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Bryan Gnyp threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns. Gnyp completed 15 of 26 passes for the Hornets (2-1), connecting with T.J. Thayer for a 17-yard TD in the first quarter and Dwight White on a 27-yard TD-pass in the second.

        White led all rushers with 21 carries for 68 yards and Thayer led Kalamazoo with five catches for 67 yards.

        Rob Wells put Mount St. Joseph (1-2) on the board in the second quarter with a 6-yard TD catch from Mike Dane. Brian Lasita added a 1-yard TD run in the third. Steve Roby led all receivers with four catches for 80 yards.
