Mt. Saint Joseph 51, Hiram 0




        Mount Saint Joseph snapped a 17-game losing streak and set a record for the largest margin of victory in school history in a 51-0 victory over Hiram at Elder Stadium.

        Mount Saint Joseph rolled up 450 yards of total offense, led by junior quarterback Mike Dane's 12-of-19 passing for 229 yards and three touchdowns. Andy Wellendorf caught three passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. The Lions' ground game was propelled by senior running back Brian Lasita's 85 rushing yards and touchdown.

        The Lions (1-1) held Hiram to 56 yards passing and 60 yards rushing. The Terriers dropped to 0-3, losing their eighth straight game dating to last season.
