Kite commits to play in Kroger
Tom Kite, winner of 19 PGA Tour events and the 1992 U.S. Open, committed Tuesday to play in the Kroger Senior Classic Sept.2-8 at the TPC at River's Bend in Maineville.
It will be Kite's first appearance in the Kroger Classic since joining the over-50 tour three years ago.
Kite has won five times on the Senior PGA Tour, including twice this year. He is fifth on this year's money list with $1,253,644.
