Seminar helps you get handle on money
The Cincinnati Enquirer
The new millennium has been a time of change for financial planning - new tax laws, bear markets and uncertain economic futures. But The Cincinnati Enquirer and Financial Planning Association of Greater Cincinnati want to help make sense of your money again.
The Enquirer's Financial Independence Day Sept. 7 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington will feature educational sessions on budgeting, retirement planning, investing, income taxes and insurance.
This is going to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn about the changes taking place from both an estate planning and taxation perspective, and the current market conditions, said Darrin McAninch, event coordinator for the association.
The Enquirer and the association are sponsoring the personal finance seminar to provide an unbiased, nonthreatening forum where Tristate residents can learn to take more control over their financial picture.
Sessions cover both basic and advanced financial planning topics. Go to Cincinnati.Com or call (859) 578-0783 to register or for more information. Cost is $15 and includes lunch.
