Woman stabbed; son arrested
A 21-year-old man was accused Sunday of stabbing his mother inside her home in the 8300 block of Bobolink Drive in North College Hill.
Police said Brandon Wrenn was captured about two hours after he fled the house after the 4:42 p.m. stabbing.
Debbie Wrenn was flown by helicopter to University Hospital, police said, but hospital officials declined Sunday night to confirm her presence there or her condition. Neighbors said she crawled to their front door and rang their doorbell for help. They said she had been stabbed in the chest.
Ms. Wrenn said her son had stabbed her with a kitchen knife, said neighbors Danny and Felicia McCalley.
