Gaines lectures at UC, on webcast




        The “On the Same Page” citywide book club presents a free lecture by Ernest J. Gaines, author of A Lesson Before Dying, at 2:30 p.m. today at the University of Cincinnati's Shoemaker Center. The lecture will be webcast at Cincinnati.com.

        Mr. Gaines will also appear on Channel 48 at 8 p.m. tonight for On Same Page: An Evening with Ernest J. Gaines. Viewers may call or e-mail comments about A Lesson Before Dying.
