Harlan's Holiday pick in Derby Future wager

        Florida Derby winner Harlan's Holiday, Ohio-bred Horse of the Year and River Downs Cradle Stakes winner in 2001, was made the slight 7-1 favorite in the third and final pool of the Kentucky Derby Future wager, which closed Sunday.

        Two-year-old champion Johannesburg closed at 8-1 odds after his second-place finish behind a filly in his seasonal debut in the Gladness Stakes earlier Sunday at the Curragh in Dublin, Ireland.

        The complete field for the third pool of the Derby Future Wager with odds and payoffs:

        KEENELAND: Odds-on favorite Cashel Castle remained unbeaten in five career starts on five different tracks, overtaking pacesetter Lafit at the top of the stretch to win the $100,000 Grade III Lafayette Stakes. Pat Day claimed his 800th career Keeneland victory aboard the 3-year-old sprinter. Owner Barry Buchholz said the colt's next start likely will be in the 1-mile Derby Trial at Churchill Downs on April 28.
