Ohio to keep travel slogan

The Associated Press

COLUMBUS — The state Department of Development has decided to keep the travel slogan: “Ohio: So Much to Discover.”

The announcement on Thursday was made with Friday's release of Ohio's 2002 tourism guide, Discover Ohio. The 120-page magazine highlights places to go and things to do in Ohio.

Discover Ohio is accompanied for the first time by a CD-ROM, which also offers links to the Department of Travel and Tourism's Web site.

There, visitors can make hotel reservations and get information on weather and road conditions.

There had been talk of changing the slogan which last year replaced “Ohio: The Heart of it All,” after a 17-year run.

The guide and CD-ROM are free. Call 1-800-BUCKEYE.
