        HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Michelle Cottrell and Amy Mobley both recorded double-doubles for the Norse.

        Cottrell (Boone County) picked up her 45th career double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds as NKU improved to 12-2, 9-0 in the GLVC. Mobley (Harrison) had 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.

        The victory was the 399th for NKU head coach Nancy Winstel, who will go for her 400th win with the Norse at 5:30p.m. Wednesday when NKU visits Kentucky State University in Frankfort.

        Bridget Flanagan (Mercy HS) scored a game-high 23 points for NKU, which is ranked No.3 nationally in the NCAA Division II poll.

Miami 89, Ohio 73
Colleen Day scored 28 points and four other RedHawks scored in double figures for Miami (10-5, 4-0 Mid-American Conference).

               Day was 11-of-13 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line. She had four assists and five steals.

        Heather Cusick scored 18 points for Miami. Jana Butler added 13, Kim Smith 12 and Kim Lancaster (Princeton) 11.

Defiance 77, Mount St.Joseph 49

               Christina Brown (Goshen) led the Mount with 12 points, but the Lions (6-10, 1-5) shot just 34.5 percent and committed 22 turnovers.

Cincinnati State 72, Lakeland Community 49

               Jessica Parsons scored 19 points and Alicia Binion 16 as the Lady Surge improved to 13-4, 4-0 in conference play.
