Dayton 88, Duquesne 44


Flyers win big on 56 percent shooting

        PITTSBURGH — Brooks Hall scored 24 points as Dayton beat Duquesne 88-44 Saturday night.

        The Flyers (10-4, 2-1 Atlantic 10) won for the seventh time in eight games and shot a season-best 56.4 percent against the Dukes (5-9, 0-3). The Dukes suffered their worst home loss since Jan.24, 1995, when they fell 103-53 to then-No.1 Massachusetts.

        The Flyers built a 10-0 lead in the first three minutes. Duquesne never got closer than six points. Dayton, leading 50-33 at halftime, opened the second half with a 20-6 run.

        Sean Finn scored a career-best 17 points, Keith Waleskowski had 15 and Ramod Marshall 14 for the Flyers.
