Cyclones 9, Richmond 2




        The Cincinnati Cyclones walloped the Richmond Renegades 9-2 and snapped a three-game losing streak Saturday night in the ECHL at Firstar Center.

        The Cyclones set season highs for goals scored (nine), margin of victory (seven) and fewest shots allowed in a period (two), and improved to 3-0-0 against Richmond.

        The shutout bid of newly acquired goaltender Alex Westlund was snapped when Sean Patchell scored on a power play goal at 18:27 of the second period.
