Baseball, softball sign-ups next month

        LEBANON — Sign-ups for the Lebanon Baseball and Softball Association will take place next month.All registration takes place at Donovan Intermediate School, 401 Justice Drive. The schedule is: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Jan. 19; 6-8 p.m. Jan. 31; 6-8 p.m. Feb. 5; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 9. Information: 932-8026, 932-1576 or Web site www.LBSA.com.

        Y offers classes

        HAMILTON — Registrations are being taken for Hamilton West YMCA youth swimming, gymnastics and dance classes.

        Classes last five weeks and begin Wednesday at the YMCA, 1307 N.W. Washington Blvd. Cost is $17 for members and $40 for nonmembers (swimming), $20 for members and $36 for nonmembers (gymnastics), and $27 for members and $47 for nonmembers (dance). Information: 868-9622.

        Field hockey league

        OXFORD — Registration for Oxford Parks and Recreation Department instructional field hockey leagues begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday at TRI Community Center, 6025 Fairfield Road. The program is for girls in grades 4-8. Information: 523-6314.

        Softball tryouts

        The Miami Valley Xpress, an under-14 select girls fast-pitch softball team, needs players for the 2002 season. Information: 863-7447.

        League spots open

        MASON — Registrations are being taken for Sports Express adult volleyball leagues. Spots are open in the following leagues: men's, women's, coed, four- and six-player. Leagues begin Wednesday at Sports Express, 5280 S. Ohio 741. Information: 398-2400 or Web site www.sportsexpressvb.com.

        MIDDLETOWN — A coed adult volleyball league for six-player church teams will be for five Mondays beginning Jan. 14 at the Middletown Community Center, 800 Lafayette Ave.
