Miami hockey to play in Silverado Shootout

The Miami RedHawks (7-8-1, 5-6-1 CCHA), losers of five of their last six games to Michigan State, Ohio State and Michigan but still receiving votes in both NCAA Division I polls, have three weeks to regroup before facing defending national champion Boston College in the the Silverado Shootout in Duluth, Minn., Dec.28.
The Redhawks will face either Minnesota-Duluth or Yale Dec.29.
