Cyclones lose at home

Peoria defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 1-0 on a goal from Bret Meyers just 16 seconds into the ECHL game before 2,341 at Firster Center.
Peoria goaltender Cody Rudkowski stopped 25 shots in posting his first shutout. Cyclones goaltender Jure Penko also made 25 saves.
The loss was Cincinnati's fourth straight and dropped the Cyclones to 9-10-1. Cincinnati plays host to the Dayton Bombers at 7:30 p.m. today in Firstar Center.
