MSJ volleyball honored

Mount St.Joseph volleyball coach Michele Benoit was named American Volleyball Coaches Association/Tachikara Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year. Two Lions, Betsy Owens (Seton High) and Cris Webb (Mason), were named to the all-region. team.
DAYTON FOOTBALL:
Senior tailback Jermaine Bailey (Moeller) was named to the All-Pioneer League Team. He has 778 yards and six touchdowns on 144 carries this season.
Sophomore offensive tackle Nick Sellett (Oak Hills) was named to the Verizon/CoSIDA Academic All-District IV Team. A student must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher to be eligible.
HANOVER:
Senior cornerback Marty Adkins (Moeller) was named to the Heartland Collegiate Conference first team. Adkins, a two-time honoree, ranked second on the team with 69 tackles.
