Dead girl's blood alcohol level: .08

The Cincinnati Enquirer

LEBANON — A 14-year-old girl who was killed crossing Interstate 75 after attending a teen-age drinking party Oct. 20 had a blood alcohol content of .084, Ohio State Highway Patrol officials said Thursday.

However, there were no drugs in Jessica Calloway's blood, said Lt. Michael Sanders, Lebanon post commander.

Police said Jessica and two friends ran from a party in Springboro when police arrived. The three hid for nearly four hours before heading home to Franklin across the interstate. The two friends with Jessica ran away from the scene near Ohio 73 after Jessica was struck by a car, authorities said. A two-week investigation of her death resulted in the arrest of 10 juveniles and adults. .
