Wagner's 18 lifts Memphis

        MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Dajuan Wagner had 18 points and four assists in his college debut to lead No.12 Memphis to an 88-61 victory over Wofford on Tuesday night in the opening round of the inaugural Guardians Classic.

        Wagner, a heralded freshman who scored 100 points in a high school game, missed his first five shots from the field but finished 6-of-17. He missed all four of his 3-point attempts.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Reggie Evans matched his career high with 30 points and Iowa responded to coach Steve Alford's first-half tirade with a 20-3 run, sending the Hawkeyes to a victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore in the opening round of the Guardians Classic on Tuesday night.

        Iowa will play Boston University in today's second round.
