Academy grad makes dean's list

        Math and elementary education major Karen Hewitt was named to the spring semester dean's list in the Honors Program at St. Francis College in Loretto, Pa.

        She is a graduate of the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.

Eagle Scout Award

               Matthew Bruestle, of Boy Scout Troop 107, has earned the Eagle Scout Award. As his community-service program, he restored the flagpoles on the grounds of Mount Airy United Methodist Church.

        The graduate of Walnut Hills High School is majoring in engineering at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.

Scholarship winner

               Jennifer Lynch, of West Chester Township, is the recipient of an Ohio Food Industry Foundation 2001 scholarship.

        The Mount Notre Dame High School graduate is a freshman at the University of Notre Dame.
