Blue Ash firm gets $1M boost
By James McNair
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Charles H. Mack & Associates, a Blue Ash software developer and technology consultant to the travel, broadband cable and health-care industries, has received $1 million from a group of local investors.
The investors are known as the Queen City Angels and were turned on to the deal by C-Cap, an initiative of a Cincinnati high-tech promotional organization called The Circuit. Tony Shipley, one of the angel investors, will become chairman of C.H. Mack.
Before investing, we talked to all of C.H. Mack's large customers, and they gave glowing reviews of C.H. Mack's products and its people, Mr. Shipley said. These satisfied customers are the launching pad for Mack's growth plan and the reason we invested in the business.
C.H. Mack will tap Queen City Angels' network of software, sales and marketing experts, with the goal of a big sales push over the next 12 months.
