Talk focuses on anthrax prevention

FORT MITCHELL A talk on avoiding the threat of anthrax in the workplace will be presented Nov. 1 by Don Filer of the U.S. Postal Service at a special Water Cooler Talk presented by the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Kentucky University Small Business Development Center.
Mr. Filer will discuss the handling and treatment of mail in a business atmosphere and use of common sense while maintaining a heightened awareness of the anthrax threat.
Terri Bonar-Stewart, president of Just the Basics, will talk on assisting employees in dealing with stress.
The program is from 8-9:30 a.m. at The Chamber Center, 300 Buttermilk Pike. Cost is $10 for chamber members and $20 for others, and reservations are suggested. Call the chamber at (859) 578-8800.
