Order issued against agent
The Ohio Department of Insurance said Thursday that it has issued an administrative order accusing George Fiorini II and the Fiorini Agency of engaging in unfair and deceptive business practices.
The cease-and-desist order accuses Mr. Fiorini of causing financial harm to clients in the sale of life-insurance endowment policies. On two occasions, the state said, Mr. Fiorini collected thousands of dollars from surrendered policies and claimed to have deposited it into a company that didn't exist.
