Portland 2, Mighty Ducks 1




        Cincinnati falls in AHL opener Patrick Boileau scored the game-winning goal with 6:14 remaining and added an assist to help lift the Portland Pirates to a 2-1 AHL win over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Saturday at the Gardens.

        Steve Brule provided the only scoring for Cincinnati with a power-play tally at 9:41 of the second period.
