Cincinnati quiet, curfew ends
A day after telling residents to stay home at night and hug their children, Cincinnati Mayor Charlie Luken said Friday to go out and have some fun this weekend. The mayor called off a citywide curfew, which had been in effect for two nights.

Harmony Community School opened as scheduled Friday morning for about 200 of the the school's 500 students in a shiny bright Price Hill building with a spectacular view of the city.

Graves blows save in 9th
What looked like a dramatic win Friday turned into another depressing loss for the Reds. Danny Graves allowed four runs on five hits in the ninth inning as the Montreal Expos beat the Reds 7-6. It was Graves' sixth blown save of the year.
