Winton Woods' Hite picks Miami (Fla.)

Winton Woods senior Robert Hite, the top-rated basketball recruit in Greater Cincinnati, has made a verbal commitment to play for Miami (Fla.).

The 6-foot-2 shooting guard made his official visit to Miami last weekend, choosing it over other finalists Xavier, Tennessee, Dayton and Georgetown.

Hite, rated No.50 nationally by CNNSI.com, averaged 18.5 points last year and led Winton Woods to a 19-1 regular-season mark.
