Cincinnati soccer highlights
Justin Fey took a head ball pass from Mike Honkonen and shot the ball into the net, giving the McNicholas a 1-0 victory over Anderson Saturday at McNicholas.
The goal was off a set play after a foul, McNicholas coach Chris Kanis said. Dan Brown was about 40 yards out and passed the ball to Honkonen.
McNicholas was coming off a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to No.1 Lakota West last week.
Wyoming 1, Cincinnati Country Day 0 Nick Reckman's unassisted goal with 6:32 remaining in the first half was the difference.
Taking a pass at midfield, Reckman dribbled down the left side and fired a lofty shot from a bad angle that went over the outstretched hands of the CCD goalie.
Turpin 3, Clayton Northmont 1 Marc Burch scored what proved to be the winning goal and assisted on two others to pace the defending Division II state champion Spartans.
Scoreless at halftime, Northmont took a 1-0 lead 10 minutes into the second half. Known as a second half team, Turpin quickly tied the game on Matt Quinn's goal off a centering pass from Burch.

Glen Este scored three goals in the first half, two by freshman Kelly Barron and one by Samantha Riley, to beat McNicholas 3-0 Saturday at Glen Este.

Lizzy Price scoring on a centering pass from Becca Nulph midway through the second half.
Charity Bashore then put in the game-winner five minutes later on a penalty kick.
