Development is topic

        WAYNESVILLE — Several groups have been invited to discuss economic development at a special meeting of the Village Council and the planning commission next week.

        The guest list includes Corwin village officials, the Wayne Local School Board, Wayne Township trustees, the Waynesville chamber and the Waynesville Community Investment Corp.

        The public also is invited.

        The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 22 in the Spartan Room at Waynesville High School.
