Man bares his plan for Ky. nudist camp
The Associated Press
GEORGETOWN, Ky. Floyd Reynolds says he wants to strip away misconceptions about nudist camps as he seeks permission to turn a wooded area of Scott County into a haven for people to bare it all.
Mr. Reynolds, a Georgetown resident, submitted a license application last week to develop the nudist campground, spa and learning facility on 48 wooded acres in northern Scott County.
I can't talk about it without smiling because I'm so aghast, said Deputy Judge-executive Michael Wright.
No matter how much people protest, Judge-executive George Lusby will be forced to approve Mr. Reynolds' application as long as it complies with state requirements, Mr. Wright said. Mr. Reynolds hopes to prepare his plans for the Scott County Planning Commission next month.
