New agency name for county dept.

The Cincinnati Enquirer

The Hamilton County Department of Human Services changes its name on Monday to the Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services.

The department will provide the same services: temporary cash assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, subsidized child care, child support enforcement, child protection, adult protection and disability assistance.

It cost $49,500 to revise hundreds of forms and make other changes. The state ordered all such county agencies to change their names by December 2002.
