Man to plead guilty to charges of child porn

HAMILTON A Middletown man accused of obscenity involving minors will plead guilty today to criminal charges that could mean up to eight years in prison, Butler County Prosecutor Robin Piper said.
Timothy O'Connor, 55, was indicted a year ago by a grand jury and will plead guilty to all 15 charges, Mr. Piper said.
Those charges are six counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, four counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, four counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and one count of receiving stolen property.
Middletown police had confiscated from Mr. O'Connor's home computer hundreds of photos.
They depicting children, ages 4 to 12, performing graphic sexual acts with adults and with each other, Mr. Piper said.
In a separate case in Warren County, Timothy O'Connor was sentenced in December 1999 to three years of probation after pleading guilty to two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.
