N.Ky. softball highlights
Bishop Brossart 6, Pendleton County 1, 38th District at Campbell County Lindsey Sendelbach and Melissa Morscher delivered the key hits, and pitcher Jasmine Vogelpohl won her 29th game to power the Mustangs.
A sophomore designated hitter, Morscher drove in three runs with a double in the third inning and Sendelbach two more in the fourth, also with a double.
Although touched for eight hits, Vogelpohl went the distance and has now worked a state-record 152 consecutive innings.

Scott County 6, Walton-Verona 5, 32nd District at Grant County A four-run fourth inning and the pitching of Sara Heberlee carried Scott County into the championship game.
The Bearcats scored a run in the seventh to close within one, but Heberlee retired the next three batters.
The victory advances Scott County into the Friday's championship game against the winner of today's Grant County/Williamstown game at 5 p.m.
