Cyclones win playoff opener




        ORLANDO — Brian Felsner scored two goals against his former team and the Cyclones beat the Orlando Solar Bears 5-2 in Game One of the best-of-seven IHL playoff series.

        Cyclones goaltender Jean-Marc Pelletier turned away Orlando shots.

        Game Two will be played in Orlando at 5 p.m. Sunday.

        First Period: Cincinnati-Koehler (1), Dionne, 10:26. Cincinnati-Felsner (1), Ustorf. Orlando-Vasiljevs (1), Murphy, Beaufait, 17:42.

        Second Period: Cincinnati-Defauw (1), Pratt, Felsner, (PP), 5:44. Orlando-Vasiljevs (2), Murphy, Beaufait, (PP), 10:05. Cincinnati-Felsner (2), Defauw, Tselios, 13:20.

        Third Period: Cincinnati-Ritchie (1), Koehler, Esau, 6:41.
