The citywide curfew declared Thursday in the wake of two nights of violence in Cincinnati neighborhoods has led to the cancellation or suspension of many events and services:
Metro overnight bus service
Queen City Metro canceled bus service for its entire service area during the curfew hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
All buses scheduled to leave downtown after 7:30 p.m. are canceled, as are all buses scheduled to arrive downtown after 8:10 p.m.

Religious services
The historic Praying of the Steps at Holy Cross-Immaculata Church in Mount Adams will be delayed until 6:30 a.m. today. Normally the blessing of the steps begins at midnight.
A special prayer service with leaders from the Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Muslim congregations will be held on Fountain Square at 11:30 a.m. today. However, instead of a three-hour service walking from station to station around the city, the Way of the Cross service will stay at Fountain Square and last an hour.
We understand this is a holy week, Mayor Charlie Luken said, referring to the Christian observance of Easter. We ask those citizens whose services are affected to stay in their houses and pray.
