LEXINGTON, Ky. Sean Avery scored with 6:52 left in regulation to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 5-5 AHL tie with the Kentucky Thoroughblades Saturday at Rupp Arena.
Jason Williams registered his second hat trick of the season and added an assist for the Ducks, who rallied from a pair of three-goal deficits and remain one point behind the first-place Thoroughblades in the Southern Division heading into today's regular-season finale against the Norfolk Admirals at the Gardens (5:05 p.m.).
Ryan Kraft scored twice and Jim Montgomery had a goal and three assists for the Thoroughblades, who play at Louisville.
