Artworks portray black women

        Cincinnati artist Brian Joiner will show his Black Women Series I portraits today and Friday at Miami University's Harry T. Wilks Conference Center in Hamilton.

        Mr. Joiner will discuss his work during a slide presentation at 1 p.m. Friday.

        The display, at 1601 Peck Blvd., is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Friday.

        The portraits also can be seen today during a 5-7 p.m. public reception.
