Miami to play Michigan, Iowa
Redhawks finish football season at Hawaii

OXFORD Miami University will open the 2001 football season at defending Big Ten co-champion Michigan on Sept.1, then will play at fellow Big Ten school Iowa the following week, RedHawks athletic director Joel Maturi announced Tuesday.
MU's first three games will be on the road. The RedHawks' Mid-American Conference opener will be Sept.15 at Kent State.
The RedHawks' home opener will be their annual matchup against Cincinnati on Sept.22 at Yager Stadium. It will be the 106th battle for the Victory Bell.
Miami's other home games will be against MAC foes Buffalo, Akron, Western Michigan and Marshall.
Miami will finish the season with its last nonconference game, Nov.17 at Hawaii.
