EVANSVILLE, Ind. Craig Sanders scored 26 points Thursday afternoon as Northern Kentucky defeated Missouri-St.Louis 82-72 in the first round of the men's Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament.
Sanders, a graduate of McNicholas High School, set a GLVC Tournament record by making six 3-point shots. He made four 3-pointers and scored 16 points in the first half as NKU built a 45-30 lead.
Sanders has scored in double figures in 16 consecutive games and has averaged 19 points during that streak.
