Mighty Ducks 7, Portland 2
Yuri Butsayev had two goals and added an assist and Maxim Balmochnykh scored twice, leading the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 7-2 victory over the Portland Pirates in the AHL Saturday night at the Gardens.
Jason Williams notched a goal and three assists for the Ducks, giving the Detroit Red Wings prospect 25 points in the last 19 games on 10 goals and 15 assists.
Toivo Suursoo and Andy McDonald also tallied goals for the Ducks, who snapped a tw.o-game winless streak (0-1-1-0) and improved to 16-8-2-2 at home.
Gregg Naumenko made 34 saves in the victory for Cincinnati and improved to 18-10-2. His win total is third among AHL goalies.
