Mighty Ducks 5, Providence 1




        PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Jarrett Smith and Toivo Suursoo scored twice each as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks defeated Providence Bruins 5-1 in the AHL.

        Yuri Butsayev scored his team-leading 17th goal of the season with an empty-netter for the Ducks, who improved to 11-4-2-0 in their last 17 games.
