Anaheim recalls recall Chouinard from Cincinnati
Cincinnati Mighty Ducks center Marc Chouinard was recalled by NHL Anaheim.
Chouinard has played in 32 games this season with Cincinnati, scoring 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points with four penalty minutes. He has appeared in 20 games with Anaheim, recording a goal and an assist.
CYCLONES: The IHL Cincinnati Cyclones will be without three forwards for a while. Erik Cole will miss 3-5 weeks with a MCL knee sprain. Stefan Ustorf will be out 2-3 weeks with an ankle sprain. Brian Felsner is day-to-day from a quadricep contusion.
MIAMI U.: For the second consecutive week, a RedHawk is CCHA offensive player of the week. Freshman center Derek Edwardson earned the honor after contributing five points in Miami's split with Ohio State. Gregor Krajnc won the award last week. Miami (16-12-2, 13-8-1 CCHA), currently tied with Nebraska-Omaha for third in the standings, visits Alaska-Fairbanks (8-14-6, 6-12-6 CCHA) for games Friday and Saturday.
