Cincinnati boys basketball games


Oak Hills wins first GMC title

        Oak Hills wrapped up the Greater Miami Conference title in its first year in the league by beating Milford 58-42 Saturday.

        It was the Highlanders' 13th win in a row.

        Tim Oliverio scored 18 points for Oak Hills and Tom Price added 13 points.

        Milford's Justin Bradley had 10 points and seven rebounds.

        • Middletown 67, Colerain 41 — Kelven Moss and guard Leroy Adams paced the Middies with 12 points each. Junior guard Darrell Hunter had 12 rebounds to go with his 10 points.

        Junior guard Michael Davis led the Cardinals with 15 points.

        The Middies used a full-court press to force 20 Cardinal turnovers.

        • Hamilton 50, Lakota West 41 — The Firebirds were up 21-11 in the second quarter when senior guard Josh Andrews turned the Big Blue around by hitting three consecutive 3-pointers. Andrews hit 4 of 4 foul shots in the fourth quarter and finished with 16 points.

        Senior guard Adam McIntosh and senior guard Kyle Raulin paced the Firebirds with eight points each.

        • Toledo Scott 75, Princeton 67 (OT) — Princeton's Derrick Jones stole the ball then scored a layup with seven seconds left in regulation to force overtime.

        Jon Mullin came off the bench to lead Princeton with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jones added 15 points.

        Senior forward Carl Whitehead led the Big Red with 12 points.

        Myron Shelley paced the Vikings with 10 points.

        Junior center Josh Stacy scored 15 points to lead four Whiteoak players in double figures.

        Ben Shoemaker scored a game-high 16 points for Peebles.
