NKU home win streak ends
Brent Mason had 34 points and 12 rebounds as St. Joseph's ended Northern Kentucky's home winning streak at 25 games with a 101-82 win at Regents Hall.
Craig Sanders (McNicholas) led NKU, ranked No.7 in the NCAA Division II poll, with 24 points.
St. Joseph's shot the ball extremely well, and they played an outstanding basketball game, NKU head coach Ken Shields said.
St. Joseph's built a 48-44 halftime lead by shooting 63.3 percent from the field. The Pumas limited the Norse to 31.4 percent shooting from the field during the second half.
The last team to beat NKU in Regents Hall was Indianapolis, 81-71 on Feb. 9, 1999.
