Hall's FTs win it for Holy Cross in overtime

        Molly Hall hit three of four free throws in overtime to lead Holy Cross to a 55-52 victory over Campbell County on Monday.

        Hall recorded a double-double with a team-high 13 points and 10 rebounds.

        Stacey Wilson led all scorers with 21 points for Campbell County, including 10 in the fourth quarter, to help force overtime. Wilson also had five steals.

        • Scott 48, St. Henry 40 — Carlie Hutchinson scored 15 first-half points to lead Scott to a 25-14 lead. The Eagles held on from the foul line in the fourth quarter.

        Scott sank 12 of 16 free throws, led by five from Jennifer Verville, who scored nine points. Hutchinson finished with a game- high 20 points.

        Jessica Schmidt led the Ladycats with 24 points, and she also had 16 rebounds. Bridget McIntyre added 12 points for Walton-Verona.

        • Calvary Christian 57, Dayton 29 — Sarah Woods scored 18 points and Lisa Van Berkel recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds for Calvary Christian.

        April Adams also reached double figures with 13 points, and Carianne Curry hauled in 13 rebounds.

        Samantha Hollingsworth scored eight points to lead Dayton.

        • Holmes 72, Dixie Heights 50 — Erica Hallman scored 13 of her game-high 22 points, including two of her three 3-pointers, to spark Holmes in the second quarter.

        Besides her 22 points, the junior guard also recorded 10 steals and seven assists for the Bulldogs.

        Valencia Jackson also reached double figures for Holmes with 13 points.

        Dixie Heights had three players in double figures, led by Julianne Lingelback with 16 points.

        The Cougars struggled through their worst shooting of the year. Conner shot 26 percent from the field and 33 percent from the foul line.
