Westbound FWW to close for repair

Fort Washington Way westbound will be closed Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for repairs to the roadway and support walls that were damaged in a truck accident last month.

Those heading south on Interstate 71 will be directed to exit at Third Street, which will reconnect with soutbound I-71/75 at the Elm Street intersection.

Those wishing to travel north on I-75 should take Third Street to Central Avenue. Turn right on Central to the I-75 north exit at Fourth Street.

On Jan. 26, steel coils on a flatbed tractor-trailer came loose as the driver left the Lytle Tunnel.
