Kentucky Speedway has added a second race to its season opener May 11. The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series will open the evening with a 50-lap feature on the speedway's quarter-mile infield track.

        The truck race will be followed by a previously announced USAC Midget race. Starting times are to be announced.

        The ARCA truck series ran its first season in 1999. The drivers race in Ford Rangers, Chevy S-10s, GMC-15s, Dodge Dakotas and Toyota Tacomas. The following night, May 12, will feature the ARCA RE/MAX “Kentucky 150” stock car race. The ARCA stocks ran two races at the Speedway in 2000.
