Super Bowl list

Giants vs. Ravens
6 p.m. Sunday
AP coverage
TAMPA, Fla. — The Baltimore Ravens led the NFL with 49 take-aways during the regular season. They have seven more take-aways in three postseason games.

Here is the Super Bowl record for most turnovers by one team:

        1. 9, Buffalo, vs. Dallas, 1993.

        2. 8, Denver, vs. Dallas, 1978.

        3. 7, Baltimore Colts, vs. Dallas, 1971.

Turnovers are a big part of the Super Bowl. Of the 68 teams that have played in the game, only 14 have played turnover-free.

And only two of the 14 errorless teams — the Bills in 1991 and Titans in 2000 — lost the game; the other 12 were winners.
