Cleveland 5, Cyclones 4
Cleveland scored four straight goals to overcome a 3-1 deficit and hold on to win 5-4 over the Cincinnati Cyclones at Firstar Center. It was the IHL Cyclones' first regulation loss on home ice since Nov.26.
Byron Ritchie, Greg Koehler and Craig MacDonald scored the Cyclones' first three goals, but the Lumberjacks punched in four straight, including a power play goal by Christian Matte that gave Cleveland its first lead.
Koehler scored his second of the night and team-leading 22nd of the year to pull Cincinnati within one but Cleveland's David Brumby withstood a furious final minute to preserve the victory.
The defeat ended a team-record 11-game unbeaten streak on home ice. The Cyclones meet Cleveland again today in Gund Arena.
The 'Clones return home Monday against Detroit.
