Yuri Butsayev scored two goals as the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks downed the Hershey Bears 4-1 Saturday night in the AHL at Cincinnati Gardens.
Sean Avery registered his first career goal and added an assist for the Ducks, who have won four of their last five games and beat Hershey for the first time in four meetings (1-3-0-0).
Jason Williams also tallied a goal for Cincinnati, while Jesse Wallin and B.J. Young each contributed a pair of assists.
Gregg Naumenko stopped 29 shots and picked up the win, improving to 8-7-0. Phil Sauve, son of former NHL goaltender Bob Sauve, turned aside 13 shots in a losing effort as the Bears fell to 3-10-0-0 in their last 13 games.
Butsayev, a top prospect for the Detroit Red Wings, has notched five goals in the last two games and nine in his last five games in a Cincinnati uniform.
