Eric Beaudoin notched a hat trick and Tim Findlay scored twice and added an assist, leading the Louisville Panthers to an 8-2 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Friday at the Cincinnati Gardens.
Denis Shvidki had a goal and three assists for the Panthers (9-23-2-3). Former Mighty Duck Yan Golubovsky and David Emma also scored goals for Louisville, and Travis Brigley contributed three assists.
Detroit Red Wings prospects Yuri Butsayev and Jesse Wallin accounted for Cincinnati's two goals, as the Ducks lost for only the fourth time in their past 12 games.
Gregg Naumenko suffered the loss, allowing three first period goals on seven shots before being pulled for Jean-Sebastien Giguere at the 9:51 mark of the period.
The game featured 191 penalty minutes, including 106 assessed to the Ducks.
Giguere and Gauthier were among the players ejected with 2:51 remaining in the game after the goalies fought at center ice during a brawl.
NOTEWORTHY: Center Marc Chouinard was sent back to the Ducks Friday by NHL Anaheim. Chouinard appeared in seven games with Anaheim, going scoreless with two penalty minutes after being called up Dec. 15 from Cincinnati. In 25 games this season with Cincinnati, the 6-foot-5, 205-pound Charlesbourg, Quebec native has scored seven goals and eight assists for 15 points with four penalty minutes and a team-leading plus-7 rating.
