Josh Andrews and Robbie Ballinger combined for nine of Hamilton's 17 third-quarter points as the Big Blue remained undefeated in the Greater Miami Conference.
Ballinger opened the quarter with all four of his points to help Hamilton, the No.6 team in The Enquirer's Division I coaches poll, open up a 30-23 lead. Andrews scored five in a row on a putback and a 3-pointer late in the quarter to give the Big Blue a 10-point lead.
Andrews was the only Hamilton player in double figures with 13 points.
Fairfield's Brandon Slade led all scorers with 14 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds.
